Ford Vertrek Is Conceptual Version Of The New Kuga

Ford in Detroit presents the concept Ford Vertrek, successor of the Escape in the U.S. market. The model anticipates the style of the automaker’s next small utility vehicle. Designed in the design studio of Ford Europe, the concept also indicates how the next generation of Kuga – crossover brand to the European continent.

The trapezoidal grille Vertrek base on the new Focus, hood and fenders with creases and panoramic sunroof. There are also large gaps in the front, accentuated chrome frame and headlights and taillights design with stretched. The model is longer, lower and wider than the Escape. The project includes EcoBoost engines 1.6 and 2.0 and 2.5. The vehicle is also equipped with start / stop button. According to Ford, the new conceptual Ford Vertrek model has no connexion with the new generation of EcoSport.
