New Generation Of Mercedes SLK Roadster
Mercedes-Benz to reveal the first official photos and some information around the third generation of the Mercedes SLK Roadster. The new look resembles the front of the SLS AMG supercar, with broad front grille, installed in a position higher than the previous generation.
Which also reminds the SLS is the long hood with two entrances near the windshield, among other internal details such as instrumentation and center panel. Interesting is the hood with electronic control of the level of transparency, and with the system “Airguide Windstop”that avoids turbulence in the cabin with the roof open.
The new SLK goes on sale in Germany from the 17th version in 350, from 52,300 euros. It comes with 306 horsepower V6 engine, power to speed from 0 to 96 mph in 5.4 seconds and reach 250 km/h. At the end of the year it more low-cost version of 250 (44,260 euros), 1.8 turbo engine with 205 horsepower that can go from 0 to 100 km/h at a respectable 6.5 seconds of Mercedes SLK Roadster.
