Volvo V60 Hybrid Version Will Be Unveiled In 2012

The Volvo will introduce the new Volvo V60 Hybrid Version in Geneva (Switzerland) in March. The model combines a diesel engine with an electric and, according to the manufacturer, is 100km to 1.9 liters of fuel. CO2 emissions are low, around 50g/km, and the car has a range of 50 km with only the electric motor.

The hybrid system was developed jointly with the Swedish company Vattenfall and has a combustion engine and five-cylinder 2.4-liter with a six-speed exchange. The electrical part consists of a 70kW rear-mounted engine powered by a lithium battery of 12 kWh. The automaker promises to put the Volvo V60 Hybrid Version still on sale next year, maybe with some changes compared to the model will be shown in the lounge.
