Euro NCAP Releases List Of Top Safer Cars 2010
Throughout 2010 the Euro NCAP – institute responsible for safety testing in Europe – has conducted impact tests on 29 models. Of these, only 65% achieved the maximum score of five stars, to 25% lower than in 2009. The institution publishes a list of the best rated in each category.
Among the executive models (or premium), the BMW 5 Series was the top. The class of compact family was rated the best Alfa Romeo Giulieta. The Honda CR-Z was the best turned out among the super-compact, and the Kia Sportage led the evaluation of off-road compact 4×4. On the compact MPV category, the best was the Toyota Verso .

The Euro NCAP those considered the best, and win five stars in the evaluation, the questions still exceeded minimum and innovators in the protection of the driver, passengers and pedestrians, regardless of the type of vehicle.
In opposite the hall of fame 2010, the institute also released a list of the worst rated in 2010, which had only two names: the French Citroën Nemo and the Chinese Landwind CV9. The first group received three stars, while the second only two.
