Kia Sportage Takes Five Stars In EuroNCAP

The EuroNCAP, an organization that each year puts to the test cars launched in Europe, proclaimed which are the safest in 2010. The only ones to attain five stars in the tests were Kia Sportage (compact SUV), BMW 5 Series (executive), Alfa Romeo Giulietta (compact), Honda CR-Z (subcompact) and Toyota Verso (MPV compact).

In 2010, 29 vehicles collided by EuroNCAP, and 65% of them achieved five stars, compared to 90% in 2009. It said the fall in the number of cars with the maximum score means that your tests have turn more demanding in the past year. After the five best placed, seem in the list of the safest Suzuki Swift, Kia Venga, BMW X1, VW Sharan, Seat Alhambra and the Citroen C4. The worst results were with Citroën Nemo (three stars) and the Chinese Landwind CV9, with two stars.
