Chevrolet Captiva Wins power and Equipment on Line 2011

Without fanfare, the Chevrolet promoted significant changes in the line of the 2011 Captiva , the two in V6 configuration, as in version Ecotec. The main change in the two cases is in the engines, which were more powerful.

The Captiva Sport now has 3-liter V6 engine, instead of 3.6. If on one hand the torque fell from 32.9 to 30 lb.-ft., the power jumped from 261 to 268 hp. The exchange rate remains automatic, six-speed. With version 2.4 Ecotec keeps liter four-cylinder, but its power increased from 171 to 185 hp. Its main improvement, however, is the transmission, now six speeds – up against four-speed line 2010.

However, following iG Cars , Captiva Sport was not only more powerful but also more equipped: reverse camera, sound system with USB and sealed box, rain sensor and electric parking brake are standard. The panel “ice blue”, the return of five-spoke wheels, black interior (and not beige) and the new Grey color Mocha are also new. The Ecotec version lost the electric drive of the banks.
