Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe Revealed

The mystery did not last long on the C-Class Coupe. After the leak pictures of the car, the Mercedes-Benz proclaimed the arriver of the car for the second half of this year in the European market. However, before this model will be exposed in the spotlight of the Geneva, Switzerland, in March.

In the Swiss event, the car will be first presented in versions C250 and C350. The first uses the 1.8 engine turbo 201 bhp and 31.6 lb.-ft. of torque, force, according to the brand, allows the model to speed from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.1 seconds. Already the most refined C Coupe 3.5 V6 brings the block system with direct fuel injection to generate 302 bhp and 37.7 lb.-ft.. In this configuration, the car goes from a standstill to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.

For the two variants of the launch speed is limited to 250 km / h, while the automatic gearbox is sequential, 7 gears. Regarding the sedan and station wagon versions of the C-Class , the coupe is 38 mm lower suspension and has set “aggressive” as reported by the mark. Mercedes also released figures for medium consumption of its novelty: 10.2 km / l in the C250 and 9.3 km / l in the C350.

The list of items is the same for the two versions of the C Coupe. The package includes butterflies for gear changes behind the wheel, interior trim with aluminum details, audio system with UBS port and Bluetooth for wireless connection, xenon headlights, navigation via Google Maps, among others. Since the AMG version, probably with the 5.5 V8 engine, 571 hp, will be launched only in 2012, the second points to the international press.
