BMW Announces New Flag With Ecological Appeal

BMW proclaimed on to launch a new brand specifically for ecological cars, BMW i. According to the German company’s new brand hits European markets from 2013 to the models i3, a compact urban-inspired design MegaCity, and i8, the long-awaited final version of the sporty hybrid based on the concept Vision Efficient Dynamics.

According to the brand, the first two products of the BMW i will be produced in the BMW plant in Leipzig, Germany. For this, the plant will receive an investment of €400 million to expand and hire 800 new employees. The manufacturer also revealed that the vehicles will share a series of electronic components and engine. The brand also plans to establish new partnerships to complement the development of cars.
