Volkswagen Has Record Profit In 2010

After the downturn felt throughout the automotive sector in 2009, because of the global financial crisis, the Group Volkswagen seems to have recovered well over 2010. More than that, when releasing the proportion of the fiscal year, the company celebrates the best result ever, with record profits of 7.1 billion euros.
The German manufacturer also celebrated the production of 7.2 million vehicles, an increase of 13.7% compared to 2009. Dr. Martin Winterkorn, chairman of the board of Volkswagen, the outlook for this year is also good. “Despite entirely the economic uncertainty, I’m sure that Volkswagen will play a decisive role in the awaited growth in global markets,” he said.
