Land Rover Freelander Ride In India

India’s Tata Motors proclaimed that it will assemble the model Freelander 2 in India in the second half of this year. The car will be sent to the nation in Asia disassembled (CKD), alleviating the high price of production in England. According to the company’s yearly vehicle production in the region will be 2,000 units per year.
The place where the car will be reinforced has not yet been released by Tata nor its price. However, it is expected that the car’s value is reduced around 30% with the partial nationalization of its production, enabling brand penetration in the growing luxury segment in India. Tata Motors also owns Jaguar.
