Kia’s Global Sales Grow 18.9 Percent

Kia Motors continues to grow significantly worldwide. According to the latest statement released by brand, sales were up 18.9% in the first two months of this year compared to the same period last year. Altogether, the company sold 349,136 cars in the first two months of 2011. Only in February were 169,727 numbers, 18.5% above the same month in 2010.
Of this total sales, the best-selling model was the Cerato, with 30,688 units offered for sale. Sportage and Rio are in sequence with 22,275 and 15,851 units sold in the order. Sorento and Soul seem in the fourth and fifth places in the ranking procedure of the assembly, with 14,460 and 12,722 units respectively.
Regarding the first two months of last year, the brand grew 17.8% to 10,566 cars topple between January and February this year. In 2010, the brand sold 8,596 in the first two months.
