VolksWagen Beats Toyota In Global Sales

VolksWagen went forward in 2011 for leading the world market, surpassing Toyota. According to proportion of automotive consulting Jato Dynamics, German manufacturer recorded a high of 29.8% in sales worldwide with a volume of 417,521 vehicles sold in January. Toyota which had been leading the world rankings forward of Chevrolet since 2007, fell 0.5% to 394,350 cars sold in the first months of this year.
The growth was influenced by VW’s resumption of production in Europe to levels before the economic crisis of 2008. In addition, the automaker from Wolfsburg recorded increases in Asian and American markets, particularly in the United States.
