Suzuki Motors will launch the latest generation Suzuki Swift hatchback in Australia at the upcoming 2011.  New Swift in Australia also carries 1200 cc engine with dual Variable Valve Timing.

The engine performance is nearly approach the performance of previous generation engines that have been marketed in Australia as well, Swift 1500 cc.

Suzuki Swift hatchback was also a new generation of fuel economy. Suzuki test results show, the car consumes 4.1 liters for 100 kilometers (km) distance traveled. The previous type is consuming 6.3 liters for the same distance.

In addition to the type offered in the 1200 cc engine, the new generation Swift will also be produced in the 1300 cc diesel engine type with fuel economy and low emissions. Fuel consumption of Suzuki Swift hatchback is 3.4 liters for 100 km distance.
