Volkswagen Recall Over 15,000 Units Routan Minivan
United Stated Volkswagen AG has recall 15,902 units of Routan minivan because of electrical cable problems on the sliding door and potentially causes a fire.
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said that the recall on minivan will employ to vehicle produced in June 2008 until July 2009.
The above cars were manufactured by Volkswagen AG and Chrysler LLC at Chrysler factory in Windsor, Ontario. 12 volt electric cable which is part of the electrical system in the sliding door can potentially cause a fire.
Previously, Chrysler has recall 285 thousand units vehicles of the Dodge Grand Caravan, Chrysler Town and Country with the same problem.
