Ford Mondeo with EcoBoost Direct Injection Technology

Ford Motor Company proclaimed that the Ford Mondeo sedan will be equipped with a new engine type EcoBoost direct-injection technology. EcoBoost direct-injection technology consumes more fuel efficient cars but stronger power.

Ford Motor Company said that the Ford Mondeo sedan now uses 2000 cc engine. Engine power output reached 203 PS at 5500 rpm and torque of 300 Newton meters (Nm). More efficient fuel consumption is 19 percent equate with the previous generation of 2300 cc engine.

Modeo new engine is consume 7.7 liters for 100 kilometers mileage. While the level of CO2 emissions produced only 179 grams per km.

This latest generation of Mondeo uses a double clutch transmission system. Acceleration from start position (0 km) to the speed of 100 km per hour can be achieved within 7.9 seconds and can run up to the speed of 240 km per hour.

Another new option is a 2,000 cc diesel engine Ford Duratorq TDCi capable of producing 163 PS power. Fuel consumption is 5.3 liters for 100 km distance, while the emission is 139 grams per km.

Ford Motor Company has not announces the selling price for the Ford Mondeo with the new technology and machines and also areas that will be marketed for this new sedan.
