Honda has revealed the fourth generation of the North American market Honda Odyssey mini van, to go on sale this autumn. Preview of the concept vehicle first exhibition this year at the Chicago Auto Show, and again the New York Auto Show, the production model to keep the form language and many of the features to see the concept.

The most significant of these is what Honda calls a “lightning bolt” the belt line – which twists after the C-pillar: – increase the degree of visual entertainment to otherwise traditional solid mini-van side profile and – as Honda claims – to facilitate third-row passengers (who are likely to be children) to look like.

Measuring 5133mm long, 1958mm wide and 1778mm high, the new Odyssey is 40mm lower than the outgoing model, which its makers claim by combining its 35 mm wider track width, so it looks thinner and more dynamic.
