New Hyundai Compact Hatchback Will Be Launch in Brazil

Hyundai, the biggest automaker from South Korea will present compact hatchback market in Brazil for South America region. Hyundai compact hatchback car will be marketed in the commencement of 2012.

Compact  hacthback body is smaller than the Hyundai Accent. The body lines are similar to the Hyundai ix-Metro, the concept of Compact Hatchback that has been introduced last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

This compact hacthback not use the B pillar, which means the rear passenger door is sliding type. Based on the preliminary design, the car is equipped with four doors. Compact Hacthback will be marketed in two variants, the 1.0 L engine and 1.6 L engine.

Now hacthback compact is being developed to compete with the VW Golf and Honda Fit. Compact hacthback will be produced in Piracicaba, Hyundai plant in Brazil. Initial production target of 100,000 units per year.
