The SUV Volkswagen Touareg R
The SUV Volkswagen Touareg R is the most serious type of the German mark to receive a hybrid propulsion system. The V8 biturbo engine of 503 horses will run in conjunction with an electric 41 horsepower, reaching a total of 544 hp, enough to overcome the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo, with its 500 hp.
The Touareg R hybrid and replace the Touareg R50 will be unveiled at Detroit (U.S.) in January. Besides the new mechanical assembly, the car will have some unique items in appearing that will also help clear up the sporty appeal of the model, as the chrome exhaust outlets and logo “R” nailed to the body.
