Ferrari AS Squeeze12 Ferrari Unveils New Convertible

Model AS Squeeze was made from the 599 GTB Fiorano

The main attraction of Ferrari in the next Salon de Paris (France), between 2 and 17 October will be a convertible version of the 599 GTB Fiorano, named as AS Squeeze. The new supercaro will have only 80 units produced. The car had already been shown to a small group of clients during the Concours Elegance in Pebble Beach, California (USA) where they were reserved entirely the useable units. The price was not disclosed, but it is estimated that revolves around £ 925,000 excluding taxes and fees.

AS Squeeze the name is a tribute to Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina, who were in instruction of the renowned studio style that drew the best Ferraris of the last decades. The difference with the latest Ferrari V12 convertible – the 575 Superamerica – is up to the canvas roof that needs to be manually installed in place of a rigid material with automatic mechanism. The new roof should be used only “if the weather is really bad,” says the Italian brand itself.

Ferrari AS Squeeze Detail Design

Among the main design details that characterize this limited edition are the typical side air vents in GTB Fiorano, which were integrated into the rear arches protection. Despite losing the hardtop, the manufacturer guarantees that the car did not lose because of the torsional stiffness reinforcements added. The V12 engine has 670 horsepower and is similar to the 599 GTO that was presented last March on AS Squeeze.
