Prototypes Super Light Car Contest Los Angeles

Prototypes Super Light Car Contest, the famous design competition of the Hall of Los Angeles (USA) issues a challenge to subscribers to design a car that has a maximum weight of 454 kg and still be capable to carry four occupants, being comfortable and secure. The pleasure of driving was some other requirement, and the sleek. And one of the models that met these requirements was the Cadillac Aera, a futuristic coupe capable to drive 1600 km on option fuels. Has a structure that uses 3D elements, made of a flexible polymer, used the two in body and in the glass.

If the American brand has complicated matters somewhat, the Honda was more simple, yet bold enough to design the prototype Air equipped with compressed-air engine. Another model that competes for the prize of first place is the Mazda MX-Zero, which used some items from small convertible MX-5 in a simplified version, with lighter materials. The winner of Prototypes Super Light Car Contest will be proclaimed on 18th November 2010.
