Car Sales in China Should Reach 18 Million by 2010
Car sales in China and utilities will close the year 2010 at 18 million units, according to consulting firm JD Power and Associates. If this level is reached, the Chinese market will grow 30% over 2009. But the government should reduce tax incentives in 2011, decreasing sales, something needed to not harm the environment and curb fuel consumption.
Thus, even confirm consultancy, China (currently the nation where the highest concentrations of world vehicle sales) should have a much more modest growth in 2011, between 10% and 15%, depending on how the sector will be taxing automotive.
